Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Training Specialist to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and conducting training programs for employees, collaborating with management to understand training needs, and implementing effective instructional methods.
The Training Specialist will focus on various areas such as safety orientation, on-the-job training, computer software usage, apprenticeship programs, and professional development.
Additionally, the role includes instructing, leading, motivating, and evaluating personnel in critical areas, including:
Human and Organizational Performance Creating and Sustaining a Just Culture Care and Concern Behavioral Based Safety Industry Standards Regulatory Standards Company Safety Management System
Responsibilities:
Develop and run training programs to address changes in policies, procedures, regulations, and technologies.
Collaborate with management to identify training needs and understand work situations requiring employee training.
Create teaching outlines and determine instructional methods, considering individual and group training, lectures, demonstrations, conferences, meetings, and workshops.
Conduct training sessions covering various areas such as safety orientation, on-the-job training, computer software usage, apprenticeship programs, safety and health practices, refresher training, and professional development.
Instruct, train, lead, motivate, and evaluate assigned personnel and client relationships in key areas related to human and organizational performance, creating a Just Culture, care and concern, behavioral-based safety, industry standards, regulatory standards, and the company safety management system.
Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Utilize strong presentation skills and the ability to partner effectively with key stakeholders.
Develop and schedule training modules, ensuring their relevance and effectiveness.
Facilitate workshops and prior experience with Human and Organizational Performance (HOP), Incident and Injury-Free (IIF), or similar organizational culture influencers is a plus.
Basic Requirements:
Strong presentation skills with the ability to engage and captivate audiences.
Proven ability to partner effectively with key stakeholders.
Experience in creating and scheduling training modules.
Proficiency in workshop facilitation.
Prior experience with HOP, IIF, or similar organizational culture influencers is advantageous.
