Summary:
Responsible for attracting and retaining a high-performance workforce through deployment of effective management of comprehensive HR function activities including engagement programs, benefit administration, compensation management, recruitment, training, performance management and policy administration.
Duties & Responsibilities
Essential Functions:
Directs human resource functions for all plants and departments for most effective operation and maintenance of sound employer-employee relations.
Assists management in the development and establishment of approved practices and procedures.
Discusses and makes effective suggestions relating to manpower organization and deployment.
Responsible for the recruitment and participation in the selection of new hires for all levels to assure compliance with Company policy and regulatory requirements.
Responsible for assuring that activities, procedures and programs are directed to maintaining a non-union operation.
Determines that all records and reporting requirements are prepared to assure compliance with government regulations.
Assures timely completion of AAP, EEO-1, VETS-100 and any other required government reports.
Maintains responsibility for all programs related to industrial relations, including job evaluations, wage and salary administration, insurance, employee training and education, management development, company internal policies and procedures, performance appraisal system, social programs, other fringe programs and community relations.
Develops and maintains a positive public relations program.
Handles grievances, complaints, harassment investigations and other investigations accordingly.
Assures and participates in accurate and timely payroll updates, including implementation of wage increases.
Actively participates in employee communication and information updates.
Assures proper management and security of employee records and maintenance of records.
Secondary Duties:
Assures compliance with corporate policies as mandated.
Provides information, statistics and data to corporate as required.
Monitors human resource-controlled budget accounts for accuracy and control.
The Individual
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelors degree in HR/OD or a related discipline
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years in the human resource field PHR/SPHR certification preferred Previous experience with multi-site organization a plus.
Skills:
Extensive knowledge of legislation governing the human resource field.
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to develop written procedures, job descriptions, handbooks.
Special Requirements:
Travel to other facilities.
Results and people oriented.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
